How do bone conduction headphones work

Bone conduction headphones work by sending sound vibrations through your cheekbones instead of directly into your ears. Small transducers placed near the temples convert audio into vibrations, which travel through the bones of the skull to the inner ear. This allows you to hear music or calls while keeping your ears open to surrounding sounds. They are popular among runners, cyclists, and swimmers because they improve awareness and comfort during activities. Bone conduction technology can also help some people with certain types of hearing loss.
