Kibayo is nestled between a lush green lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean, located between Cabarete and Sosua in the North Coast of the Dominican Repubic.

The location consists of a villa with a calming and earthy look and feel, where guests have the opportunity to stay amongst nature. A big tropical front and backyard with swimming pool, bar/restaurant area, firepit, organic garden, lagoon entrance and multifunctional garden cabana.

Kibayo is such a stunning little oasis.. I almost don't want to give it away. Sitting off the beaten path of 'downtown' Cabarete, this beautiful boutique hotel is a get-away from the getaway.
The rooms are delightfully airy and super clean with very comfortable beds, the breakfast is delicious (served with warm smiles), and the grounds are fabulous. They have tons of classes and events too! On top of all of this the owners and staff are absolutely lovely and so much damn fun to be around (Seriously, thank you). The care and love that has gone into Kibayo truly shows.

Kibayo Cabarete is a wonderful place to spend your vacation. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and you can relax in the large garden. The owners Estée & Taïf and their team make sure you lack nothing! In short, highly recommended!

We enjoyed this paradise spot for 2.5 weeks! Lovely peaceful backyard where you have lots of space to do your own thing, in addition you can supp on the adjacent lagoon. It is ten min walk from the kite club, giving you a perfect base for kitesurfing!
We highly recommend going to this place in cabarete!



Yes, we have a pool in the garden.

Do we offer Food at Kibayo?

Yes, we offer a Brunch Menu everyday from 8 am to 2:30 pm

Is Kibayo pet-friendly?

As much as we love pets, unfortunately, it is not allowed to bring yours to kibayo.

Is there a parking space at kibayo?

Yes, we have free parking space on the property. The area is limited. Please let us know in advance that you are coming by car.

What time is check-in at Kibayo?

Check-in is from 3 – 10pm. Late check-in is possible. Please let us know in advance to arrange this. Early check-in is available subject to availability.

What time is check-out at Kibayo?

Check-out is at 11 am. Late check-out is available subject to availability.

Does Kibayo provide a shuttle to the airport?

We do not have a shuttle service. We can arrange a taxi service on request. Please let us know in advance to arrange this.

Where is Kibayo located?

Kibayo is located in Cabarete. The neighborhood is called Tropical Goleta.

We are situated next to National Park El Choco, and the world-famous Kite Beach is within a 10-minute walking distance. Cabarete center is just a 5-minute drive away, and Sosua is a 15 minutes drive, which offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, and much more.
