Flights to Puerto Plata
Flight only to Puerto Plata
To visit us at our hotel in Sosua, you should typically fly to the international airport “Gregorio Luperon” in Puerto Plata. From there, it’s just a 20-minute drive to Sosua.
Currently, there are four direct flights from Germany to Puerto Plata. The airline Condor offers one flight on Sundays and one on Wednesdays from Frankfurt to Puerto Plata. On Wednesdays, you have a stopover in Santo Domingo or Montego Bay on the return flight.

Additionally, Eurowings Discover flies from Frankfurt to Puerto Plata. These flights depart on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Alternatively, you can fly to the airports in Santo Domingo, Samana, or Punta Cana, but the journey to Hotel El Rancho is a bit more time-consuming.

The cable car to the top of “Isabel de Torres” offers a breathtaking view over Puerto Plata. At the summit, you will find a fortress and a statue of “Christ the Redeemer.” Enjoy the view and relax in the botanical garden. From Sosua, you can reach Puerto Plata in half an hour.
