Hotel El Rancho, the perfect tranquil accommodation for your laid-back and individual vacation in Sosua, is located on Calle “Holanda” – slightly away from the bustling center of Sosua in the peaceful residential area of “Villa Ana Maria,” just about 200 meters further out from the German bakery Moser.

Hotel Sosua, close to the center
In addition to the main building with an apartment and rooms, there’s a single-story annex with two guest rooms and cozy terraces.
The complex is situated in a quiet residential area in Sosua, Dominican Republic.
The two beaches are about a 20-minute walk away, or you can take a Motoconcho (motorcycle taxi) to reach them in just three to five minutes. The city center is also a 15-20-minute walk, or a quick three-minute Motoconcho ride away – the heart of Sosua’s bustling nightlife.
Close by, within a few minutes’ walk, you’ll find supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, and numerous bars. Enjoy a delicious, affordable breakfast at “Charly’s Bar” or “Germany Bar & Grill.”
For a light snack or a meal, choose from a variety of restaurants offering a wide selection of dishes and snacks. Order your favorite dishes and enjoy them in the comfort of your guest room or with others. Mike is always happy to call the restaurant of your choice.

Our guesthouse is complemented by well-maintained greenery and a swimming pool where you can unwind during your vacation in Sosua, Dominican Republic.

The beaches of Sosua are just a 15-20-minute walk away. With a Motoconcho, you’ll get there quickly and return to Hotel El Rancho after an adventurous day at Playa de Sosua. Within 5-10 minutes, you’ll be in the heart of El Batey, where the atmosphere is electric.
Single Vacation
Unlike other accommodations in the Dominican Republic, we welcome your vacation acquaintances just as warmly as you. Sosua is an ideal destination for single travelers. It’s easy to make new connections. Although we don’t consider ourselves a dedicated singles hotel, many solo travelers choose to stay with us. Our guests see themselves as a close-knit family, always ready to lend a helping hand. Often, they enjoy breakfast together or celebrate in Sosua’s vibrant nightlife.

If you’re feeling hungry, you can order dishes from various international restaurants in Sosua to be delivered to the hotel. Of course, Dominican cuisine also includes traditional German dishes.
